e:N2 concept previews what future Honda EVs will be like
Up to 10 Honda e:N series models expected in China by 2027

Honda entered the electric vehicle market in China with the HR-V-based e:NS1 and e:NP1 crossovers this year. And apparently, they are looking to further bolster their electric lineup in the People's Republic by revealing the e:N2 EV concept.
Shown to the public at the 5th China International Import Expo in Shanghai, the e:N2 concept essentially previews what the second set of e:N series models will look like. Together with the first e:N series models like the e:NS1 and e:NP1, the future vehicles will also be exclusively sold in China through Dongfeng Honda and the GAC Honda joint ventures.
Featuring sharp and dynamic body lines, the exterior of the e:N2 concept is aiming for a new vehicle category. While it does look like a four-door sedan, the high ground clearance shows that it could be another unique-shaped crossover.
Other images were not revealed by Honda, but it was mentioned that the concept has a clean and uncluttered digital cockpit – giving hints that it could still be based on the “Simplicity and Something” layout found in ICE models like the HR-V, Civic and CR-V, while receiving a proper upgrade with ambient lighting, bigger screens and the latest Honda CONNECT features.
In terms of its platform, the Honda e:N2 concept is built on the e:N Architecture F, which promises to deliver engaging driving dynamics with outstanding stability and crisp handling.
The Honda e:N2 concept is part of the Japanese manufacturer's plans to launch 10 e:N series models in China by 2027, together with offering a full electric and electrified lineup by 2030 before transitioning to a full EV brand by 2040.
