Diesel-powered 2022 Ford F-150 starts at PHP 3.398M
All-new Ford F-150 makes PH debut with 3.0L Powerstroke diesel V6

After making its debut in the North American market last year, the all-new F-150 has officially made its way to the Philippines. Meet the 2022 Ford F-150. Now on its fourteenth generation, it gets a more stylish look, a more high-tech cabin, upgraded features, and for the first time in the country, a turbo-diesel powertrain.
Like the model that was revealed across the Pacific last year, the F-150 receives a sleek makeover. It gets redesigned LED headlights and C-shaped LED daytime running lights, along with a bigger front grille that is specific to this model, the Lariat.

Also present on the F-150 are the new wraparound bumpers, a new power dome hood, refreshed LED taillights, new appliques on the tailgate that show a bigger Ford badge paired with a more prominent F-150 motif, massive 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, power-deployable running boards, and taller front fenders that give the pick-up a tougher and more rugged appearance.
Inside, the cabin appears to be the same as the outgoing model. However, keen-eyed viewers will notice it gets a huge touchscreen infotainment. It measures 12-inches and runs on the latest SYNC 4 system. It comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, USB, Bluetooth, as well as satellite navigation. As an added bonus, it comes with an 8-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.

Other available features inside the F-150 include a 12-inch digital instrument panel, power-adjustable front seats, LED ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera package, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated front seats, 6 USB charging ports, and a twin-panel moonroof.
Under the hood, the PH-spec F-150 will only be available with one engine, a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V6 called the Powerstroke. It makes a healthy 250 PS along with a meaty 597 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to the wheels via a ten-speed automatic gearbox and 4WD system. Sorry EcoBoost fans, the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 will not be offered in the new F-150.

Equally impressive is the F-150's bed. Aside from the fact that it's huge, the bed is equipped with several amenities. For starters, the bed can double as a makeshift workbench and even comes with a deployable rear-step, and mounting brackets to fit tools while working.

When it comes to safety, the F-150 comes the following; anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist, traction control, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, roll stability control, reverse camera with parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring system, and a host of airbags (dual front, dual side, and dual curtain).
Providing extra security while out on the road is the Ford Co-Pilot 360 2.0. This provides drivers with extra peace of mind thanks to intelligent safety systems that include; pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, active drive assist, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go function, automatic high beam, automatic parking assist, and blind-spot information with rear-cross traffic alert.

Available colors for the F-150 include Agate Black Metallic, Carbonized Gray Metallic, Iconic Silver Metallic, Lead Foot Gray, Oxford White, Rapid Red Metallic, and Velocity Blue Metallic.

The 2022 Ford F-150 is now available in Lariat trim and has a suggested retail price of PHP 3,398,000.
