Confirmed: Mazda PH to launch CX-60 on June 9
CX-60 will likely serve as Mazda PH's first Large Product Group vehicle in the country

There's an all-new crossover coming to the country, and Mazda Philippines will be holding its official debut next month.
After its global launch last year, the Mazda CX-60 will be arriving in the Philippines on June 9, 2023. The all-new midsize crossover will slot above the CX-5 and will serve as Mazda's first “Large Product Group” vehicle in the country.

The exact specifications of the all-new CX-60 are not yet available. However, we do know that it will be underpinned by the SkyActiv Multi Solution Scalable Architecture. That means it will have a rear-wheel drive platform and will likely have a new SkyActiv powertrain.
Speaking of powertrain, the PH-spec Mazda CX-60 could be powered by a 3.3-liter SkyActiv D turbo-diesel inline-six. No official figures have been released but based on international markets, the non-hybrid SkyActiv D makes 231 PS with 500 Nm of torque while the hybrid e-SkyActiv D generates 254 PS and 550 Nm of torque. Both turbo-diesel engines are connected to an 8-speed multi-plate clutch automatic transmission.

There's also the possibility of Mazda offering the CX-60 with the 3.3-liter SkyActiv-G turbo-gasoline. This one makes 280 PS with 450 Nm of torque and is also connected to the same 8-speed automatic transmission.
Style-wise, the CX-60 features a long hood and a distinct front fascia that's dominated by a pair of eye-catching LED headlights. Other key features include a sleek set of alloy wheels, wraparound LED taillights, and a unique Rhodium White Premium Metallic paint we wish Mazda PH will offer here.

Hop inside and we can expect the Mazda CX-60 to come with a massive 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Nappa leather upholstery, a digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, a redesigned center console with an electro-mechanical gear selector, and wood accents for that extra flair.
With June 9 just several weeks away, we'll be keeping a close watch on any development regarding the all-new Mazda CX-60.
