Coming soon: 2024 MG One to be priced PHP 1.3 to 1.4M
MG Philippines previews the One crossover, launching in 2024

It wasn’t only the MG Cyberster that SAIC Motor Philippines previewed today. Also making its presence felt at Makati Shangri-la is the MG One, the brand’s next crossover offering in the country.

Underpinned by the MG Sigma platform, the MG One is a compact crossover that sizes up as a challenger to the likes of the Ford Territory, Changan CS55 Plus, and the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro. In the MG lineup, the MG One is set to slot below the MG HS.

Previewed at the MG Christmas Revel Ball is the One in the same red color as the Cyberster EV, showing off a wide front grille with keen-looking LED headlights. Looks-wise, the One crossover has a sportier vibe than the HS with more angular lines and a sloping hood.
Inside, the MG One features dual screens on the dashboard - one for the instruments and the other for the infotainment system. A D-shaped steering wheel accentuates the MG One’s sporty cabin.

Full powertrain specifications are yet to be revealed, but on other markets, the MG One is powered by a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder turbo engine with 181 horsepower.

According to MG, the One crossover will be launched sometime in the first half of 2024. In terms of pricing, it will be somewhere in the PHP 1.3 to 1.4 million range.
