City of Manila to close down several major roads on Nov 25
Roxas Boulevard, some parts of Manila City Hall area are closed for Asics Rock n' Roll Running Series

While many are looking forward to going to the provinces for the long weekend ahead, those who are staying in the Metro, particularly in the Manila area may want to take a look at this advisory.
The Manila Public Information Office (Manila-PIO) has announced the road closures for this weekend's Asics Rock n' Roll Manila Marathon, covering a major part of Roxas Boulevard up to some of the areas in Binondo, Kalaw, and Intramuros.
Here are the areas that will be closed to vehicular traffic starting 10:00 PM on Saturday, November 25:
- Roxas Blvd. (from Katigbak Drive to Pres. Quirino Ave.)
Starting 11:00 PM:
- Bonifacio Drive (from Anda Circle to Katigbak Drive)
- Katigbak Drive and South Drive
- Independence Road
- P. Burgos Avenue (from Roxas Blvd. to Jones, McArthur, & Quezon Bridges)
- Ma. Orosa St. (from P. Burgos to Kalaw)
- Finance Rd. (from P. Burgos Ave. to Taft Ave.)
- Northbound lane of Taft Ave. from Ayala Blvd. to P. Burgos Ave. (Two Lanes only)
- Muralla St. (from Sta. Lucia St. to Real St.)
- Real St. (from Muralla St. to Sta. Lucia St.)
- Sta. Lucia St. (from Real St. to Muralla St.)
- Quintin Paredes St. (from Jones Bridge to Ongpin St.)

These areas will then be re-opened to vehicular traffic by 8:00 AM on Sunday, November 26.
But for motorists who will have to travel on that particular date and time, they are being advised by the Manila PIO to take alternative routes to avoid inconvenience.
