Chevrolet Spark EUV appears on DOE's list of EVs, PH launch soon?
Besides the Captiva EV & PHEV, Chevrolet PH could also launch the Spark EUV

Back in January 2026, the Chevrolet Captiva EV and PHEV appeared on the Department of Energy's (DOE) list of EVs and plug-in hybrids. With both vehicles getting recognition by the DOE, it looks like Chevrolet Philippines is about to join the electrified car market.
Fast forward to February, and the bow-tie brand has been posting teasers about its electrification era on social media. Moreover, it looks like Chevrolet Philippines will also be launching a small EV to attract first-time car buyers. That vehicle is the Spark EUV, and it recently popped up on the DOE's list of recognized EVs.

Also called the Baojun Yep Plus, the Chevrolet Spark EUV is essentially a rebadged version of the former and is already on sale in Latin America. Based on the DOE's listing, the Spark EUV will measure 4003mm long, 1726mm wide, and 1760mm tall. This makes the Chevrolet Spark EUV as small as a hatchback but as tall as crossover SUVs.
The Spark EUV for the Philippines is also listed to have a maximum electric power of 75 kW or 102 PS and has a 41.9 kWh (or 42 kWh) battery pack. In Latin America, the Spark EUV puts out 102 PS with 180 Nm of torque and has a range of up to 258 km on a full charge. It also has three drive modes to choose from: Eco, Standard, and Sport.

When it comes to recharging the Spark EUV, it's available with a portable charger that's available in either 4.4 kW or 7 kW. There's also a wall charger that can deliver up to 22 kW of charge for faster recharging.
As far as features are concerned, the Spark EUV for the Philippine market could come with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.8-inch digital instrument panel, automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 360-degree camera system, and a two-tone interior.

Expect the Chevrolet Spark EUV to make its Philippine debut real soon.
