Chevrolet Captiva PHEV is yours for PHP 1.821 million
Chevrolet Captiva PHEV has a combined range of 1,040 km

After revealing the Captiva EV, Chevrolet Philippines distributor Hariphil Asia Resources Inc. has unveiled the plug-in hybrid version (PHEV) of the crossover.

Aptly called the Captiva PHEV, the electrified crossover comes with a 1.5L engine that's assisted by an electric motor and a lithium-iron phosphate battery. The engine can power the drivetrain, as well as recharge the onboard 20.5 kWh battery pack. Meanwhile, the electric motor puts out 204 PS and 310 Nm of torque.
With a fully charged battery and a full tank of gas, Chevrolet says the Captiva PHEV can cover up to 1,040 km, based on the NEDC cycle. Chevrolet PH did not reveal the Captiva PHEV's electric range, but in other markets, it can do up to 100 km. When hooked up to a DC fast charger, the Captiva PHEV can be recharged from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. It also supports 3.3 kW AC charging when connected to a wallbox charger.

Like the Captiva EV, the PHEV version comes with a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It supports both Apple CarPlay & Android Auto for easier pairing of mobile devices. Other in-car features include a digital instrument panel, leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, and a host of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

These include adaptive cruise control, front collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning with lane departure prevention, emergency lane-keep assist, lane-tracing assist (AKA cruise control on curves), hill-start assist, and hill-descent control.
The Captiva PHEV is slightly more affordable compared to the EV variant and sells for PHP 1.821 million.
