Chery all set to unveil its New Energy Vehicle technologies
Chery International will be at this year's Beijing Auto Show, to highlight its green technology under QPower

Chery is set to unveil its latest breakthroughs at the Beijing International Automotive Show while concurrently hosting the Global Dealer Conference. Both of these will happen from April 25 to 30. The event's theme, “New Energy, New Eco, New Era” not only encapsulates Chery's ongoing innovation in new energy technology but also provides a profound vision for the future development trends of the automotive industry.
As the new energy vehicle industry continues to flourish, technological innovations, the evolution of a diversified energy landscape, and the steady rise in market penetration rates are catalyzing a green revolution within the global automotive sector.
At this year's Beijing Auto Show, Chery will reveal QPower, the brand's 4.0 comprehensive architecture which is a culmination of the brand's 26 years of powertrain technology accumulation and advancements. QPower covers mainstream energy types such as ICE, PHEV, and BEV, with energy advantages such as “strong and swift”, “efficient and green”, and “high-energy and intelligent”.
Utilizing the QPower architecture, the performance capabilities of various Chery automobile models are poised for significant enhancement in the forthcoming period. In addition, this advancement promises to furnish users with a driving experience that is not only more efficient but also environmentally friendly and technologically advanced.

For PHEV, Chery believes that plug-in hybrid technology allows for a more eco-friendly driving experience as well as combines the best of both worlds; pure ICE with EV mobility. Not only does it make for a more fuel-efficient driving experience, but the addition of an electric motor allows for quicker acceleration and provides extra power when needed.
As for the brand's hybrid system, Chery claims they are set to redefine the technology. Within Chery's QPower system, the powertrain is capable of having a thermal efficiency exceeding 44.5%, an extensive range exceeding 1400 km, fuel consumption of 4.2L per 100 km (or up to 23.8 km/L), the ability to accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in 4.26 seconds, and enhanced battery materials boasting higher energy density and improved low-temperature performance.
Chery's advancements in new energy technology not only deliver robust performance but also underscore its profound technical prowess in safety. While prioritizing high performance and energy efficiency, Chery maintains a steadfast commitment to safety, ensuring comprehensive safety assurances for users.
In 2023 alone, global sales of new energy vehicles surged to 14.653 million units, marking a remarkable year-on-year growth of 35.4%. Projections indicate that by 2024, global sales of new energy vehicles will surpass 18 million units, with the global adoption rate of new energy vehicles reaching an impressive 46%. With Chery at the forefront of hybrids, PHEVs, and BEVs, they are looking forward to revealing their new technology in Beijing soon.
