Chery achieves 2.8M global sales in 2025, Tiggo rEV gets five-star safety rating
Chery continues to strengthen its brand as a leading global automaker

Chery continues to strengthen its position as a leading global automotive brand after closing 2025 with record-breaking worldwide sales, reinforcing its growing momentum in the Philippine market.
Based on its official data, Chery sold 244,928 vehicles in December 2025 alone. This pushes total global sales in 2025 to a historic 2,806,393 units, making it the highest sales figure in Chery's history.
The automaker also achieved several key milestones in 2025, including:
- 1,344,020 vehicles exported, which reflects a 17.4% year-on-year increase
- No.1 passenger vehicle exporter in China for 23 consecutive years
- A global customer base that has now reached 18.53 million Chery owners worldwide
Chery Auto Philippines (CAP) also celebrated wins in 2025 thanks to the Tiggo rEV Luxury Edition. Not only did it log a class-leading 84.28 km/Lge in the recent Department of Energy (DOE) fuel eco run, the crossover also topped the PHEV sales among CAMPI members last October 2025.

Last but not least, the Chery Tiggo rEV achieved a five-star safety rating from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) and the European New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP). This further demonstrates the Tiggo rEV's strong performance across key assessment areas, including Adult Occupant Protection, Child Occupant Protection, Vulnerable Road User Protection, and Safety Assist.
By meeting the stringent safety standards of globally respected assessment programs, Chery reinforces its dedication to providing drivers and passengers with confidence, peace of mind, and a secure driving experience in every journey. The results are also clear proof of the automaker's commitment to engineering vehicles that prioritize safety, reliability, and advanced protection technologies.
With a record-setting 2025 behind it, Chery Auto enters the next chapter focused on delivering reliable, innovative, and globally trusted vehicles to Filipino families and businesses nationwide.
