Check out these teaser pics of Chery Tiggo 8 Pro

With the 2022 Manila International Auto Show just around the corner, Chery Auto Philippines has released a photo of their latest flagship crossover, the Tiggo 8 Pro.

The automaker is scheduled to launch an all-new vehicle at MIAS next week. However, Chery has yet to say what exactly will they will be revealing. For now, all they've mentioned is that it's “poised to elevate the state of the art in SUVs, particularly in luxury, performance, design, and technology”.

Chery has also released several teaser photos of the upcoming vehicle. While we have yet to see its exterior design, we do get to see that it will have high-tech and luxurious appointments. From a high-resolution digital instrument panel to a sleek center console with an electro-mechanical gear selector, as well as full-leather seats, the upcoming SUV could serve as the brand's latest flagship model.

Other details about the all-new vehicle remain scarce. But based on the teaser images and the details shared by Chery, we're looking at the 2022 Tiggo 8 Pro. Also called the Tiggo 8 Plus in its home market, it serves as the more luxurious and high-tech version of the regular Tiggo 8. Not only does it get a more stylish exterior, but Chery also gave it a more decked-out cabin.

Looking at press photos of the upcoming crossover, the Tiggo 8 Pro gets a more upscale design that is dominated by a distinct front grille, eye-catching LED headlights, and new wraparound LED taillights. It even gets neat touches of chrome and metal accents that give it a more sophisticated finish.

Over to the interior, all rows of seats (including the third-row) are upholstered in high-quality leather. Meanwhile, the interior gets a dual-screen setup that consists of a digital instrument cluster and a wide touchscreen infotainment system. Last but not least, it has a unique electro-mechanical gear selector that's situated in the center console. There appears to be another screen there for the vehicle's climate control.

In terms of powertrain, the Tiggo 8 Pro could come with an improved version of its 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four. Currently, the engine makes 145 PS with 210 Nm of torque and is paired to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.

With just one week to go before its reveal, we certainly cannot wait for Chery to launch the all-new Tiggo 8 Pro.
