Charge your EVs while shopping at Uptown Mall in BGC
Megaworld Lifestyle Malls start free EV charging campaign to promote greener mobility

Here's good news for electric vehicle owners. Starting this August, they can fully utilize the EV charging facilities of the Uptown Lifestyle Mall in BGC, Taguig.
Megaworld Lifestyle Malls launched its first mall-based charging stations for e-bikes, e-scooters, e-vehicles, and e-PUVs, providing a vital facility that will cater to the growing number of Filipinos opting for alternative modes of mobility in the face of rising oil prices and fare increases. Best of all, it's free.

Located at the Basement 2 parking lot, the EV charging station features two Pulsar 22 kW chargers that can accommodate American, European, and Asian-made electric vehicles. In addition, the Uptown Parade open parking area will also cater to most e-vehicles.
This is part of the company’s e-mobility initiative, launched in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Transportation (DOTr), Department of Energy (DOE), and the Department of Natural Resources (DENR), which aims to provide charging access to EV users in the area.

Megaworld Lifestyle Malls will also be adding and building more charging stations in their various other malls and townships around the metro. They aim to be set up and complete by year's end.
With sustainability as its main priority, the company will help with the shift of the auto industry to electrification and help reduce the overall carbon footprint. This in turn will help customers live a greener lifestyle when it comes to their commute and be more conscious about our beloved mother earth.
Megaworld Lifestyle Malls' EV charging stations initiative is supported by PGA Cars, Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP), Power Equipment and Supplies, Inc. (PESIN), and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
