Changan Deepal appoints first distributor in PH market
Changan’s premium sub-brand Deepal to enter PH with S05 and G318 SUVs as its initial models

Last year, we had insider information that Changan was looking to bring the premium Deepal sub-brand to the Philippine market. As it turns out, the Chinese automaker has already started to put the pieces in place.
Deepal has named Autohub Group as its distributor in the Philippines after a formal contract signing with Changan Auto Southeast Asia. Likewise, they have also revealed their initial models to mark the brand’s arrival in the market – the Deepal S05 and the G318.

The S05 will be available in two variants: the S05 REEV, which offers longer driving range and added flexibility for daily use, and the S05 BEV, a fully electric version designed for efficient city driving.

On the other hand, the Deepal G318 is an REEV and off-road-capable SUV built to handle both urban roads and more adventurous terrain. In addition, the Deepal S07, a midsize SUV, is expected to be launched in the Philippines in the succeeding quarters.
Deepal is set to make its first major public appearance in the Philippines in April 2026, during the Manila International Auto Salon (MIAS), where further details on the brand’s local rollout and direction will be revealed.
