Changan Auto PH is now in Cagayan De Oro
More Changan Auto locations will open in Visayas and Mindanao

Changan Auto recently opened its newest dealership in Cagayan de Oro City. The dealership is the second to be opened by the automotive company in the island of Mindanao, and the fourth of six locations that Changan announced as expansion and business hubs in key urban areas in the VisMin regions.
Changan Auto’s presence in Cagayan de Oro is made possible by Global Star Motor Corporation (GSMC), a Cebu-based network responsible for bringing to the Philippines luxury and premium vehicles. GSMC is one of Changan’s partners in expanding its network of dealerships in the country.
The newly opened CDO facility spans an impressive 92,505.05 square feet and follows the successful inauguration of Changan’s dealerships in Tagbilaran, Tacloban, and Cebu. With plans for further growth with GSMC, more dealerships are set to open in Dumaguete and Davao City in October and November 2024, respectively.
This reinforces the automaker's strategic push for business expansion in the southern Philippines, and a show of the company's commitment to bringing to the Visayas and Mindanao regions the benefits and impact of the booming local and global automotive market.
Changan Auto's partnership with GSMC ensures that customers in CDO and nearby areas can expect world-class service and aftersales support. The brand's dedication to providing top-tier service is part of its commitment to delivering seamless customer experience throughout the vehicle ownership journey.
“We are excited to bring the Changan Auto experience closer to the people of Cagayan de Oro. This partnership with Global Star Motors further strengthens our position in the Visayas and Mindanao regions where we see a big growth potential in the automotive industry,” said Maricar Parco, General Manager of Changan Auto Philippines.
Among the top automakers in China, Changan Auto sold over 2.5 million units worldwide in the last year alone— a year-over- growth of 8.8%. In the Philippines, the automaker is creating more options for the Filipino consumer built around customer-centric service and satisfaction.
