Changan Auto Dumaguete is now open
Changan Auto PH partners with Global Star Motors Corp. for new Dumaguete outlet

Inchcape Philippines, the official distributor of Changan in the Philippines, under its IC Automotive Inc. operations, headed by its General Manager, Ms. Maricar Parco, joined Global Star Motors Corporation (GSMC) president and CEO, Mr. Edward Onglatco in the inauguration of its newest dealership in Dumaguete City.
It is the 5th Changan dealership to open in the Visayas and Mindanao areas, and the fourth Changan dealership from the company’s successful partnership with Global Star Motors Corporation (GSMC) to open in 2024. The inauguration, which took place last October, coincided with the automaker’s first successful year of operations. This milestone signifies the brand’s unwavering commitment to delivering top-quality products, world-class customer service, and innovative mobility solutions to Filipinos nationwide, particularly in Dumaguete.

The event last October saw the attendance of the following company executives and local leaders, namely: Mr. Kenneth Huan, executive vice president and Treasurer, Ms. Ritchell Selma, Chief Operating Officer of GSMC, Mr. Archie Nanalabe, Branch Manager for Changan Auto Dumaguete, and Mr. Hans Villamor, Group Sales & Marketing Manager for Changan Auto at Global Star Motors.
The Changan Dumaguete dealership's opening allows the brand to expand its foothold and cater to the diverse needs within the growing Visayas and Mindanao markets. This new dealership enables Changan to provide mobility to Dumagueteños and its neighboring towns, now that its diverse and growing 7-vehicle lineup, inclusive of the brand’s best-selling CS SUV line – the CS35, CS55, and CS15 are all made even more accessible to the consumers of Central Visayas.
The 220-square meter Changan dealership showroom, located on National Road, Sibulan, Dumaguete City is a product of Inchcape Philippines’ successful partnership with Global Star Motors Corporation, a premier dealer network organization in Cebu City. It allows the Changan brand to continuously outspread its 160-year legacy of industrial experience, 65 years of which is especially dedicated to showcasing automotive expertise globally.
