CAVITEX toll fees to go up by PHP 8 for Class 1
Toll Regulatory Board approves toll increase for CAVITEX R-1 segment

Motorists who frequently use CAVITEX to go in and out of Metro Manila will have to shell out a bit more from their wallets and load credits to their RFID cards.
Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC) together with the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) will implement new toll rates in the CAVITEX Paranaque Toll Plaza beginning May 12.
This means that on Thursday, instead of the PHP 25.00 toll rate for Class 1 vehicles, motorists have to pay PHP 33.00. Class 2 vehicles will be charged PHP 67.00 from the previous PHP 50.00 rate, while Class 3 vehicles who used to pay PHP 75.00 will now pay a PHP 100.00 toll fee.

The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has approved the toll increase for the R-1 segment (otherwise known as Coastal Road) of the expressway after enhancement works like the completion of asphalt overlay, provision of Pacific flyover and left turn facility, bridge widening, and facility maintenance were completed last 2020.
For public utility vehicles (PUV), however, they can still enjoy the previous toll rates for three months, as CIC and PRA announced a toll rebate program to help drivers and PUV operators cope with the change.
Also, motorists going from Bacoor to Kawit and vice versa are not affected by the toll increase, as the petition only covers the areas from Zapote Interchange to Seaside Drive.
