CAVITEX to start full RFID dry run on Sept. 14
Motorists without RFID will be 'persuaded' to have an RFID installed

The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) announced that the agency will begin the 12th batch of the full RFID dry run this coming September 14, 2024, in CAVITEX.

What this means is that beginning September 14, only vehicles and 400cc-above motorcycles with the corresponding Easytrip RFID (or enrolled Autosweep RFID) will be allowed entry to CAVITEX (Kawit and Paranaque toll plazas). Motorists with no RFID stickers shall be directed to a safe place/location where they can pay the toll fees in cash and shall be persuaded to have an RFID sticker installed.
Though cash payment of toll fees is still allowed, motorists are highly encouraged to switch to RFID for faster and more convenient entry and exit at the toll plazas.
