CAVITEX-Las Piñas bridge partially closed from Sept 6-17
Partial road closures for Cavite-bound lane announced by CAVITEX

In a week's time, motorists using the Cavite Expressway from Manila are bound to experience some traffic inconvenience in the Las Piñas area. Be advised.

CAVITEX announced on their official Facebook page they will be closing down the two outermost lanes of the Las Piñas bridge to make way for repairs.
The first closure will be done every 12:00 AM to 3:00 PM from September 6 to 9, affecting the rightmost lane. While from September 10 to 17, the third outer lane will be closed down for maintenance work at the same times.

To minimize the effect of these road repairs on traffic, CAVITEX is opening counterflow lanes during rush hours for motorists going to Kawit.
For motorists going to Cavite on these dates, do plan your trips wisely. And if possible, it might be best to avoid the area altogether during those times to get away from heavy traffic.
