CAVITEX-C5 Link Sucat Interchange inaugurated by PBBM
Soon, travel time between CAVITEX and Taguig will be just a few minutes

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., has inaugurated the CAVITEX-C5 Link Sucat Interchange today, June 21, 2024. The CAVITEX-C5 Link Sucat Interchange will shorten the travel time from Cavite to Taguig City and BGC as it now connects CAVITEX to C5 Extension and C5 Link.
According to the Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC), the new CAVITEX-C5 Link Sucat Interchange, which is near the Paranaque toll plaza of CAVITEX, is expected to accommodate 16,000 motorists daily and would cut the travel time to just 10 minutes from CAVITEX to Sucat Road and vice versa.

The public opening is to be announced soon by CIC.
Groundbreaking of CCLINK and Segment 3B
PBBM also led the groundbreaking ceremonies of two infra projects that would connect CAVITEX to two other expressways: the CCLINK and the Segment 3B.
The CAVITEX-CALAX Link or CCLINK is a 1.3-kilometer segment that will connect CAVITEX to the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX). The target completion date of the CCLINK will be on or before Q3 of 2025.

Meanwhile, Segment 3B is a 2-kilometer segment that will finally connect the expressways CAVITEX and C5 Link – effectively connecting Paranaque and Taguig City via the expressways. The target completion date is 2025.
“We have always been believers in the potential [of] PPPs and we thank His Excellency, President Marcos, for his prudent governance, as well as members of his Cabinet, who have made it easy to undertake monumental projects in collaboration with the government. We are confident that our continued collaboration will help the Filipino people welcome even more success, and ultimately give rise to a nation that is more competitive, inclusive and united – one we can be proud to bequeath for future generations,” said Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation Chairman, Manny Pangilinan.
