BYD to preview Atto 3 at 2023 Philippine EV Summit
BYD's stylish electric crossover will be at this year's PH EV Summit

Earlier this year, Ayala Corporation's AC Motors announced they are the new official distributor of BYD in the Philippines. Not only that, but the company also announced that auto industry veteran Toti Zara will serve as the brand's CEO apart from his other duties at AC Motors.
More importantly, the company is also set to launch an all-new EV later this year. But before it's officially launched in the country, BYD Philippines will hold a special preview at the 2023 Philippine EV Summit.

This coming October 19, BYD Philippines is set to hold a special preview of the Atto 3 crossover. It will be shown alongside the Kia EV6 and while there will be no specs yet available, the special preview will give the public a better look at the soon-to-be-launched BYD Atto 3.
A quick look at what other markets get has given us a glimpse of the possible specifications and equipment. For starters, the Atto 3 is available with a single electric motor that pushes out 204 PS and 310 Nm of torque.

When fitted with a 52.3 kWh battery pack, it can travel up to 400 km on a single charge and can go from 0 – 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds. There's also a bigger 63.8 kWh battery pack which boosts range to 480 km. When it comes to recharging the EV, the Atto 3 will likely come with a Type 2 7kW AC charger that can fully recharge the battery in around 8 to 8.5 hours.
When it comes to features, the PH-spec model could get a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 5-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-speaker sound system, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity, a wireless charging pad, a panoramic sunroof, and smart keyless entry with remote start. In terms of size, the BYD Atto 3 comes in at 4455 long, 1875mm wide, 1615mm tall, and has a 2720mm wheelbase.

See the BYD Atto 3 in the metal once the covers are taken off on October 19, 2023, at the SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia Complex.
