BYD opens first auto dealership in Manila Chinatown
Evo Mile Innovation opens first-ever car showroom in the oldest Chinatown in the world

BYD Cars Philippines has further solidified its presence in the country with the grand opening of its newest showroom in the heart of Manila’s bustling Chinatown district last March 6, 2025.

The grand opening event was symbolic for BYD as this is the first-ever car dealership to open in Binondo – which prides itself as the oldest Chinatown in the world. It was a vibrant affair, featuring traditional lion dances, good luck ceremonies, and presentations highlighting BYD’s innovative EV technology.
According to Evo Mile Innovation – the company behind BYD Chinatown, the new showroom will be a hub for BYD’s sales, service, and after-sales support in Binondo and nearby areas, providing customers with a comprehensive EV experience. The company also plans to continue its expansion across the Philippines, further contributing to the country’s transition towards electric mobility.

The opening of BYD Chinatown comes at a time when the Philippine government is actively promoting the adoption of electric vehicles through various incentives and initiatives. BYD’s expansion in the country reflects the increasing awareness and acceptance of EVs among Filipino consumers.
BYD Chinatown is located at Juan Luna Street corner Plaza San Lorenzo Ruiz, Binondo, Manila. You can reach them at 0917-446-8057.
