BYD Cars PH launches RWD Seal, upgraded Atto 3
Check out what's in store with BYD this weekend at Ayala Malls Solenad in Sta.

After launching a plethora of new models in 2024, BYD Cars Philippines aims to keep the momentum going by debuting new and upgraded variants of certain models.

At BYD's first-ever Tech Tour which is currently happening at Ayala Malls Solenad in Sta. Rosa, Laguna from January 17 to 19, 2025, BYD Cars Philippines distributor ACMobility launched the Seal Advanced and the improved Atto 3.

Starting with the Seal Advanced, this particular variant sits below the AWD Premium (now renamed Performance) which was revealed last year. The Seal Advanced packs a smaller 61.4 kWh Blade battery but only comes with a rear electric motor that makes 203 PS and 310 Nm of torque. The RWD Seal Advanced can go from 0 – 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds which is good but still eclipsed by the AWD Performance's 3.8-second sprint.

Recharging the Seal Advanced from 30% to 80% with a DC fast charger can be done in 30 minutes. A standard AC wallbox charger, however, will allow users to fully charge the vehicle from 0 – 100% in 12 hours. When it comes to features, the Advanced still comes with plenty of amenities like a 10-speaker sound system, dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable front seats, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch rotating infotainment display, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.

Over to the updated Atto 3, BYD gave it more standard features across the range. These include a power tailgate, LED interior ambient lighting, a bigger touchscreen infotainment display (now at 15.6 inches instead of 12.8 inches), an NFC card for keyless entry, and new 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in thicker 235/50 Continental tires for the range-topping Premium variant.

As before, the Atto 3 is powered by a single electric motor that drives the front wheels. It makes 204 PS with 310 Nm of torque and gets its power from either a 49.9 kWh Blade battery (Dynamic) or a bigger 60.5 kWh battery (Premium). The Dynamic gives a range of up to 410 km while the Premium can travel up to 480 km on a full charge.

The 2025 BYD Seal Advanced retails for PHP 1.998 million, making it more affordable than the Performance which is selling for PHP 2.548 million. On the other hand, the upgraded BYD Atto 3 retains its original pricing as before – PHP 1.598 million for the Dynamic and PHP 1.798 million for the Premium.
Check out the new BYD variants and the rest of the brand's vehicle lineup this weekend at Ayala Malls Solenad.
