BIMS 2025: Bangkok International Motor Show gears up for 46th edition
The 46th Bangkok International Motor Show, themed "The Talk of Sensuous Automotive," will feature new EV debuts, expanded Chinese exhibitor participation, and a focus on automotive entrepreneurship.

Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, in collaboration with over 54 leading automotive brands, is set to host the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show from March 26 to April 6, 2025, at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-3 and Forum Hall 4, Muang Thong Thani. Under the theme "The Talk of Sensuous Automotive," the show promises to be a platform of automotive innovation, design, and the burgeoning electric vehicle (EV) market.

Dr. Prachin Eamlumnow, Chairman of the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show, emphasized the theme's focus on the emotional connection between cars and consumers, stating, "It reflects the philosophy of automotive design that communicates emotions filled with power, desire, and inspiration," said
The event will feature a dedicated highlight zone for EV and internal combustion engine spare parts, a result of successful negotiations with manufacturers and distributors from China. This expansion highlights the growing importance of the EV market and the show's role as a platform for industry collaboration.

"Currently, 54 automotive exhibitors from Europe and Asia have confirmed their participation," announced Mr. Jaturont Komolmis, Vice Chairman of the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show. "We are particularly excited to welcome new EV brands debuting in Thailand, including Zeekr, Omoda & Jaecoo, Chery, Kinggen, Juneyao, Riddara, and Geely, as well as in-car navigation technology from Huawei. The electric motorcycle brand Yadea will also make its first appearance."
The show will witness a significant increase in Chinese exhibitors, with 14 more companies joining compared to the previous year. Attendees can expect a plethora of new car and motorcycle model launches, both internal combustion and electric, from various manufacturers.
Recognizing the potential of the Bangkok International Motor Show as an international-level automotive exhibition, the organizers have expanded the exhibitor base to include manufacturers and distributors of EV and internal combustion engine spare parts. A collaboration with Nanjing Chuangji Exhibition from China will bring automotive parts and electric motorcycles to the show, offering Thai entrepreneurs opportunities to become distributors. This initiative marks the show's first direct targeting of automotive entrepreneurs, fostering business connections and networks.
Forum Hall 4 will house a 9,000 square meter space dedicated to automotive accessories, including a 3,800 square meter section for Chinese automotive parts and electric motorcycles from March 24 to 30, 2025. "We are confident that attendees will find products that meet quality standards and competitive prices directly from the manufacturers," added Mr. Komolmis.
In addition to the automotive showcases, the event will feature a Used Car exhibition, lifestyle and fashion products, spiritual items, and various entertainment experiences. A special event, MU-NIVERSE, "Unveiling Thailand's Mu-Te-Lu Universe for the Next-Generation," will take place from April 2 to 6, 2025, at Forum Hall 4, offering visitors a unique blend of beliefs, art, technology, and lifestyle.

Mr. Anothai Eamlumnow, Chief Production Officer of Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, highlighted the event's interactive elements. "This year's activities, in addition to the E-Racing experience, will also feature a collaboration with R.C.S. (Runbike Championship Series) from Japan to host the 'Grandprix Runbike Championship With R.C.S.'" The event will also include booths showcasing products related to children, sports, and lifestyle, as well as activity zones for families.
The 46th Bangkok International Motor Show promises to be a comprehensive and exciting event for automotive enthusiasts, industry professionals, and families alike.
