BIMS 2023: Peugeot 2008 Sport Concept is ready for rallying
Feast your eyes on this rally-inspired Peugeot 2008

Peugeot may not have launched an all-new vehicle at the 2023 Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS), but the French automaker did bring something special and unique during the annual event.
Making its presence felt at BIMS 2023 is Peugeot 2008 Sport Concept. With a rally-inspired exterior, this dressed-up 2008 looks like it's ready to compete at grueling rally stages.

Taller, longer, and wider than your typical 2008, the Sport Concept has been fitted with a wide array of exterior add-ons. First and foremost is that huge wing at the back which is guaranteed to provide heavy downforce to keep the wheels planted to the ground. It also gets twin exhausts and a massive diffuser to help with the airflow.
As mentioned earlier, the vehicle comes with a wide body kit that makes the tiny 2008 look bigger and more muscular. There's also a front lip spoiler which helps with the vehicle's aerodynamics while moving at high speeds. Also worth mentioning is the vehicle's lack of rear door handles which leads us to believe Peugeot actually made this particular 2008 as a two-door rally car.

Last but definitely not least, the 2008 Sport Concept gets special decals, huge side skirts, blacked-out roof rails, and rally-style alloy wheels finished in bright neon green.

Will Peugeot actually build a production version of the 2008 Sport Concept? It's highly unlikely as the concept we're looking at could just be a design study to preview a sportier version of the said crossover. Having said that, we sure hope that Peugeot actually makes the Sport Concept available in some way in the not-so-distant future.
