Besides Colorado, Chevrolet also refreshes Trailblazer SUV for 2025

Last week, Chevrolet Brazil surprised us when they revealed the first images and details of the 2025 Colorado. Featuring an extensive facelift, a redesigned cabin, and a slightly more powerful turbo-diesel with a new 8-speed automatic gearbox, the midsize pickup truck gets a new lease on life despite its age.

Not long after, its SUV cousin has also been given a similar treatment. That's right, the frame-based Trailblazer has been refreshed for the 2025 model year and Chevrolet Brazil has released the first details.

Starting with the most obvious, the 2025 Trailblazer gets a fresh new face that was first seen on the recently updated Colorado pickup. It gets a new dual-port grille design with bigger chrome accents, restyled LED headlights, and a front skid plate that appears to be integrated with the front bumper. The rest of the exterior remains relatively the same, particularly the taillights, doors, and fenders. Perhaps the only other apparent change seen on the vehicle is the new alloy wheels.

Inside, the 2025 Trailblazer comes with a redesigned dashboard that gives it a more modern appearance. It gets an 8-inch digital instrument panel along with an 11-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. New switch gears and a redesigned climate control system & center console bring the Trailblazer in the 2020s.

In the top-of-the-line High Country variant for Brazil, the cabin is upholstered in a nice shade of brown leather and is complemented by dark contrast stitching. The High Country logo is also proudly displayed via embroidery on the front headrests for all to see.

Under the hood, the 2025 Trailblazer is powered by an improved 2.8-liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine. Like the refreshed Colorado, this one now makes 204 PS with 510 Nm of torque and is coupled to a new 8-speed automatic gearbox. The suspension of the Trailblazer was also given attention to deliver a comfier and more refined ride.

While Chevrolet Philippines has moved on from the frame-based Trailblazer in favor of a crossover version, it's nice to know that the body-on-frame SUV is still going strong outside the Philippines.
