Bangkok 2025: Updated BMW M4 Competition takes spotlight
BMW Thailand has unveiled the upgraded M4 Competition M xDrive Coupe, which features a 20-horsepower increase to 530 hp, a top speed of 290 km/h, and a 0-100 km/h time of 3.5 seconds.

BMW has announced the latest LCI (life cycle impulse) of its high-performance coupe, the M4 Competition M xDrive, featuring significant upgrades in both performance and aesthetics. Joining its Touring sibling in this M-powered refresh, the new M4 Competition Coupe boasts a 20 horsepower increase, pushing its total output to a formidable 530 hp.
The heart of the M4 Competition remains its 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder inline petrol engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, now delivering 390 kW (530 hp) and 650 Nm of torque. Power is channeled to all four wheels via BMW's intelligent M xDrive all-wheel-drive system, enabling the sleek coupe to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.5 seconds. Furthermore, the M Driver's Package now comes standard, raising the top speed from 250 km/h to an exhilarating 290 km/h.

For those seeking even greater stopping power, the M4 Competition offers an optional M Carbon ceramic brake upgrade. The standard Adaptive M suspension setup ensures exceptional handling precision, allowing drivers to exploit the car's dynamic capabilities fully.
Visually, the M4 Competition receives a number of striking updates. The front fascia is enhanced with Adaptive LED headlights, while the rear showcases a laser taillight system previously seen on the ultra-lightweight M4 CSL. The coupe's low-slung profile is further accentuated by new optional 19- and 20-inch M forged wheels in a double-spoke M Silver design, also available in Black and Bicolor black. These wheels perfectly complement the standard M Carbon exterior package, adding a touch of sporty elegance.

Inside, the M4 Competition gets a series of updates, as well. The cabin is centered around a flat-bottom M steering wheel, providing a race-inspired feel. The user experience is elevated with the integration of BMW Operating System 8.5, offering intuitive control and seamless connectivity.

The new BMW M4 Competition M xDrive Coupe represents a significant step forward in the model's evolution, combining breathtaking performance with refined aesthetics and cutting-edge technology. This latest iteration is poised to captivate driving enthusiasts with its exhilarating blend of power, agility, and style.

Also sharing the stage with the new M4 is the 4 Series in convertible form. It also gets a nip and tuck outside and subtle interior revisions as well as a new infotainment system.

With the new LCI M4 and 4 Series making its appearance in Thailand, it won't be too long until this arrives in the Philippines.
