AutoIndustriya.com wins Best Technology Feature at 21st HFA
Editor-In-Chief Vince Pornelos brings home another HFA trophy for AutoIndustriya.com

Back in 2021, AutoIndustriya.com won in two different categories during the 20th Henry Ford Awards (HFA). For this year, however, the automotive website was able to bring home one trophy from the annual awards program that recognizes the work of the Philippine automotive journalists.

For the 21st Henry Ford Awards, AutoIndustriya.com Editor-In-Chief Vince Pornelos was able to bag the Best Technology Feature Of The Year. Pornelos' winning story titled “We took the new and improved LTO Comprehensive Driving Exam” sees how the LTO's new online licensing and renewal process help for a more streamlined and easier driver's license.

Aside from that, AutoIndustriya.com was also nominated in two different categories. Nominated for the Automotive Photograph of the Year was the photo titled 'Understatement'. Photographed by Kelvin Christian Go for AutoIndustriya.com, his image highlights the understated yet luxurious look of the 2021 Lexus LS 500h flagship sedan.

The other nomination for the annual awards program was a feature titled “Red Flags: 8 signs you shouldn't drive through that flood”. Written by Mikko Juango for AutoIndustriya.com, his article shows the dangers of crossing flooded roads without checking for the dangers that might serve as a warning to would-be motorists.

From knowing the road ahead, checking depth markers, observing bystanders, as well as the fact if your vehicle has mechanical or electrical gremlins, failing to heed any of the warnings could result in your vehicle becoming a sitting duck in the middle of a flooded road.
Can AutoIndustriya.com win more trophies from the next edition of HFA? Watch us next year.
