Aside from 06, will UAAGI also launch Lynk & Co 01 PHEV?
The Lynk & Co 01 and 06 crossovers for PH may only be available in PHEV form

We've already received insider information that the United Asia Automotive Group Inc (UAAGI) plans to reveal two Lynk & Co vehicles – the 01 and the 06. Heck, we also found out not too long ago that the 06 could come in plug-in hybrid (PHEV) form for the Philippine market.
With a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that's helped along by a pair of electric motors and a high-output battery, the subcompact crossover can generate nearly 300 PS along with 568 Nm of torque which is impressive given the vehicle's small size. This makes us wonder what will be the powertrain of the bigger Lynk & Co 01.

Well, we may not need to wonder anymore as the upcoming compact crossover could also have an electrified heart. Recently, we saw some details about the supposed Lynk & Co 01 for the Philippines. Based on what we've gathered so far, the crossover will also reportedly have a PHEV powertrain.
Looking at what the Lynk & Co PHEV 01 gets in other markets, the compact crossover is available with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that's assisted by two electric motors and a battery pack. If that setup looks familiar, that's because it's similar to the one powering the Lynk & Co 06 PHEV. That means we could expect the 01 PHEV to generate a similar 299 PS and 568 Nm of torque.

Upon checking the recently approved vehicles for UAAGI, it seems there will indeed be two vehicles powered by a 1477cc (1.5-liter) three-cylinder engine. Based on that info, it appears Lynk & Co Philippines could only offer PHEV versions of both crossovers. But since the turbocharged version also has a 1477cc engine, Lynk & Co Philippines might also offer the ICE versions as well.
With the 2024 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) all set this coming April, we'll be sure to keep our eyes peeled for any new information ahead of this year's annual auto show.
