Are you the refreshed 2023 Mitsubishi Xpander Cross?
Mitsubishi Indonesia gives us a glimpse of (what could be) the refreshed Xpander Cross

We may not have to wait much longer for Mitsubishi's answer to the Toyota Veloz.
Mitsubishi Motors Indonesia showed us a glimpse of what could be the refreshed 2023 Xpander Cross, featuring updated interior amenities and a few exterior styling tweaks.

Based on the short video, it looks like the (high-riding) MPV has shed out some of its body cladding to follow a more subtle styling compared to its previous look. In addition, a new set of alloy wheels complement the changes to the exterior.

On the other hand, the interior now features wireless charging, plus a bigger touchscreen head unit that we're expecting to have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Furthermore, the cockpit also appears to sport a redesigned instrument cluster and a rather familiar-looking steering wheel; it now has the four-spoke unit previously seen on the Montero Sport and Strada.
From these teasers, Mitsubishi is definitely upping its game to match the Veloz when it comes to standard equipment; though it remains to be seen if the former will be offering advanced driver assist systems like the Toyota Safety Sense on the upcoming Xpander Cross.
Mitsubishi Indonesia could be set to launch the refreshed Xpander Cross at the 2022 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), which is happening from August 11 to 21. We'll keep a close eye on this one.
