All the specs, features of 2023 Suzuki S-Presso AGS

Those looking to get themselves a brand-new S-Presso without a third pedal can now rejoice! After opening the reservations books last month, Suzuki Philippines has officially revealed the 2023 S-Presso AGS.

Now equipped with the brand’s Auto Gear Shift (AGS) technology, the tiny hatchback will have a wider appeal, especially to those that prefer to drive without having to step on a clutch pedal.

Like the Dzire and Celerio, the 2023 S-Presso is now equipped with a 5-speed AGS transmission. This combines the benefit of an automatic gearbox with the frugality of a traditional manual transmission but without the hassle of having to operate a clutch. Those that still prefer to row their own can still get the 2023 S-Presso with a traditional 5-speed manual stick-shift.

Apart from that, the 2023 S-Presso is now powered by a new 1.0-liter K10C DualJet three-cylinder engine. It replaces the similarly-sized K10B and still produces 67 PS at 5500 rpm and 89 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. However, the new engine now benefits from an engine auto start/stop system (EASS) that will help improve its fuel economy.

Suzuki was also busy upgrading its safety features. Beyond the anti-lock brakes (ABS) which were already standard equipment since it was first launched, the 2023 S-Presso now also gets an electronic stability program (ESP) and dual-front airbags as standard for both the AGS and manual variants. Exclusive only to the AGS variant, however, is hill-hold control (HHC) which is also called hill-start assist (HSA).

The infotainment system of the S-Presso has also been changed for 2023. In keeping with the times, the hatchback now gets a new-generation touchscreen that comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. This is both available in the AGS and manual versions of the 2023 S-Presso.

Available colors for the 2023 Suzuki S-Presso include Fire Red, Metallic Granite Gray, Sizzle Orange, and White.
