All-new Toyota Avanza debuts March 7, to start at PHP 813k
We're only two weeks away before the 2022 Toyota Avanza debuts in PH

Back in December, we reported that Toyota Motor Philippines plans to launch the next-generation Avanza in March 2022.
Featuring a stylish new look inside and out, the 7-seater MPV now sits on a front-wheel drive platform, and now benefits from a new continuously variable transmission (CVT). While exact specifications were not yet available at the time, the MPV would most likely have similar equipment levels as the one that was revealed in Indonesia last November 2021.

Fast forward to the present day, and TMP confirms that the 2022 Avanza will be revealed on March 7, 2022. The official launch will take place online via TMP's social media platforms like YouTube and Facebook. More importantly, all authorized Toyota dealerships in the country will begin accepting inquiries and reservations of the all-new Avanza as early as March 1, 2022.
“Our mobility requirements are rapidly evolving, especially after the disruptions caused by the pandemic, but one thing remains constant - Filipinos will always need a reliable car that can offer ample, comfortable space for the family, including extended family members. This has always been the strength of the Avanza, but for this 2022 release, expect even more value-for-money features on top of its striking style upgrades inside and out,” said Sherwin Chualim, TMP's First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations.

The specifications and other details of the 2022 Toyota Avanza will be released soon via TMP's official website. Select dealerships will also offer test drives to customers shortly after the official launch period.
As to how many variants will be available, Toyota said that there will be a total of four variants and five colors to choose from. Price-wise, the next-generation MPV will start at PHP 813,000.
With only two weeks to go before its launch in the country, those that are planning to get one can head to their nearest Toyota dealership next week in order to reserve a unit.
