All-new Mitsubishi Triton, Xforce win iF Design Awards 2024
Mitsubishi takes home iF Design Award 2024 in the product design discipline

They may have been revealed just recently, but Mitsubishi's two new latest vehicles were recently recognized for their stylish design. That's right, the all-new Triton and Xforce vehicles have just won the iF Design Award 2024 in the product design discipline.
With their eye-catching designs, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation is proud that their latest vehicles were recognized by the iF Design Award. For this year's design awards, around 11,000 entries were submitted from 72 countries and were judged by a jury of 132 international design experts. Each of the designs was critiqued based on five criteria; idea, form, function, differentiation, and impact.

“We are truly honored to receive one of the most distinguished design awards in the world for the two all-new models we launched this fiscal year. I believe each model was recognized for expressing its own character in a unique form – the Triton shows a daring expression, and the Xforce adopts an agile look – while also combining robustness, which is typical of Mitsubishi Motors' design. This award will become our driving force in introducing the Triton and the Xforce to even more customers,” said Seiji Watanabe, Division General Manager of Design at Mitsubishi Motors.
The all-new Triton is now available in the Philippines after it was launched by Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) last January. It's available in seven distinct variants and starts at PHP 1.134 million. Not only did the pickup get a more stylish exterior & interior, but it now comes with more standard features across the range and an updated 2.4-liter engine that can generate up to 204 PS with 470 Nm of torque.

On the other hand, the Xforce is the brand's new B-segment crossover SUV. It's now available in Vietnam and Indonesia and is set to make its way here in the Philippines. In fact, Mitsubishi recently announced that they are looking to launch the all-new Xforce sometime in June 2024.
With Mitsubishi receiving recognition for the design of the all-new Triton and Xforce, we can only imagine what the next-generation Montero Sport could look like.
