All-new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek coming to PH
XV no more, all-new Subaru Crosstrek teased for the first time for PH customers

Last year, Subaru officially introduced the all-new XV which has been renamed globally as the Crosstrek. Now on its third generation, the crossover features a sleeker look, a tweaked platform for improved Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH) deadening, and a more upscale & high-tech interior.
It was originally slated to make its way to the 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) last April. Unfortunately for us, the automaker wasn't able to bring the all-new crossover to the annual auto show in time, opting instead to reveal the refreshed Evoltis (AKA Ascent). But that doesn't mean Subaru distributor Motor Image Pilipinas (MIP) has no plans to launch it this year.

The company has just dropped the first teaser image of the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek, and it's our first look at the soon-to-be-revealed crossover for the Philippine market. No official details about the all-new Crosstrek have been divulged just yet. However, we can already expect the 2024 Crosstrek to come with similar specs as the one launched in Hong Kong, as well as in Taiwan.
For starters, it might be offered in just one variant with a 2.0-liter Boxer engine making 156 PS and 196 Nm of torque. The engine will then be paired to a Lineartronic CVT that sends power to all four wheels via the Symmetrical AWD system.

Inside, the crossover will likely be available with the tablet-inspired 11.6-inch touchscreen complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other interior amenities to expect may include full-leather upholstery, a host of USB-C and USB-A charging ports, and power-adjustable front seats.
The upgraded Subaru EyeSight 4.0 will also likely be fitted in the 2024 Crosstrek. Now equipped with a monocular camera using a stereoscopic setup, it allows for a wider field of view to detect incoming dangers, as well as automatically steer or stop the vehicle in order to prevent or minimize an accident.

With the all-new Subaru Crosstrek set to make its debut soon in the Philippines, we may get to see it in just a few weeks' time. In fact, there are rumors going around that the official launch might happen sometime in July. As for its price, it could retail for around PHP 2 million since the outgoing model is currently selling for PHP 1.908 million.
Those interested to learn more about the all-new Subaru Crosstrek can now register and be one of the first lucky ones to test drive it once it becomes available.
