All-electric Nissan Ariya EV to be on display at MIAS 2024
Nissan's most high-tech EV yet will make an appearance at MIAS 2024

Yes, you read that headline correctly. Nissan Philippines Inc (NPI) will be at this year's Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) with something special. Set to make an appearance this week is none other than the Nissan Ariya.
Serving as the brand's first all-electric compact crossover, the Ariya is Nissan's premiere EV that combines sleek styling, a zero-emissions powertrain, and a host of high-tech amenities. Nissan has yet to say whether the arrival of the Ariya is simply a preview or a vehicle launch. However, we already know what to expect when it comes to its electric powertrain.

Depending on what Nissan brings to the Philippines, the Ariya is available with either a single electric motor or a pair that delivers AWD capability. The single electric motor produces 218 PS with 300 Nm of torque while the AWD variant can deliver up to 394 PS and a whopping 600 Nm of torque.
As far as range is concerned, the Ariya can travel up to 500 km with just a single electric motor or up to 340 km should they bring the most powerful AWD variant. When it comes to recharging, the Ariya supports up to 22 kW of AC charging and up to 130 kW of DC fast charging.

Over to its technology and features, the Ariya features a minimalistic yet sleek cabin that combines high-resolution displays and touch-sensitive controls that minimize the number of physical buttons/switches. This makes for a futuristic yet clutter-free cabin that's also pleasing to the senses according to Nissan.

With only just a couple of days before the big reveal, we'll surely be curious as to what Nissan has in store when they officially take the covers off the Ariya for the Philippine market.
