All-electric Maserati GranTurismo Folgore coming to PH Q4 2024
Aside from the twin-turbo V6 versions, Maserati will also bring its first electric grand tourer to PH

Yesterday, Maserati Philippines officially revealed the all-new GranTurismo. Now on its second generation, the twin-turbo V6-powered grand tourer is available in Modena and Trofeo variants. That means those who plan to get one can get the 496 PS version or the more powerful 557 PS model that can sprint from 0 – 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds.
However, there was one question that lingered in our mind during the launch of the 2024 GranTurismo, where was the all-electric GranTurismo Folgore? We were initially expecting all three variants to be available in the country. However, only the Modena and Trofeo (which was the version the company showed) versions are currently on offer from the Italian brand.

Curious, we asked a well-placed source if Maserati plans on bringing the full-electric version of its latest grand tourer. According to our insider, customers need not worry as the GranTurismo Folgore EV is coming to the Philippines later this year. They added that if all goes according to plan, the all-electric GranTurismo will arrive by the end of 2024.
What can we expect from the Folgore EV once it arrives here? Fortunately, the automaker has already released the specs and figures of the all-electric GranTurismo. For starters, it swaps the V6 twin-turbo engine for a trio of electric motors that serve up 761 PS and a whopping 1,350 Nm of torque to all four wheels. The result is a 0 - 100 km/h sprint of just 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h.

Providing power to the electric motors is a 92.5 kWh battery pack which gives the vehicle a range of up to 450 km on a full charge. It benefits from an 800V architecture which allows it to have 270 kW DC fast charging (up to 100 km with just a 5-minute charge). It's also rated for 400V architecture charging which can deliver 50 kW and recharge the grand tourer from 20% to 80% in 18 minutes. Last but not least, it also supports AC charging of up to 22kW.

For those looking to get an all-electric GranTurismo Folgore EV, you will have to wait by Q4 2024 to get your hands on one. Alternatively, you may also let Maserati Philippines know ahead of time you're interested in getting one.
