Acura launches Honda Heritage Parts Program in the US

Owners of first-generation NSXs, who’ve painstakingly cared for their supercars and struggled to track down rare replacement parts, finally have good news.

Acura recently announced the US launch of the Honda Heritage Parts program, bringing reproduction components for the iconic 1991–2005 NSX available. Orders will open this June exclusively through Acura dealerships nationwide across the United States.

The program is part of Honda Heritage Works, a global initiative aimed at preserving older Honda/Acura high-performance models.

The key difference is that in Japan, enthusiasts will have access to both factory parts and complete factory restoration services starting April 1, 2026. In the United States, however, the program focuses solely on making factory-quality parts available, consisting of Genuine Honda Reproduction Parts and Honda Compatible Parts.

Exact copies of the originals, down to the materials and specifications, providing factory-correct replacements.

Honda Compatible Parts

Newly engineered components made with modern materials and techniques, designed to replace parts no longer in production.

Both programs will cover critical areas, including the engine, suspension, electrical systems, interior, and body panels.

A Game-Changer for NSX Owners

Parts can only be ordered through Acura dealers, streamlining access for American NSX owners who previously relied on overseas suppliers or aftermarket alternatives. Pricing and exact availability will be revealed this June, with new components expected to roll out over time.

“This program is a milestone for NSX owners, especially in our 40th anniversary year,” said Steven Bailey, Acura VP of Parts, Service, and Technical Operations. “It ensures these legendary vehicles stay on the road and can be enjoyed by future generations.”

If all goes well, Honda has also hinted at expanding the program to other classics, including the S2000 and early Integra Type-R models, though no launch dates have been confirmed. The NSX rollout, however, sets a clear precedent for how Honda plans to support its historic performance cars while meeting the demands of the enthusiasts.
