ACMobility, Robinsons Malls partner up to expand EV charging in PH
Robinson's Malls and ACMobility to help expand the country's nationwide EV Spine network

ACMobility, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions and infrastructure in the Philippines, has partnered with Robinsons Malls, one of the largest shopping malls and retail operators in the country, to further expand its EV network. This collaboration aims to support the growing adoption of EVs by addressing range anxiety and making EV charging more accessible, particularly in key provincial areas.
As an initial deployment, 10 EV charging hubs will be launched and will be fully operational by Q1 of this year, each equipped with two 22kW charge points (except for Robinsons Butuan, which is equipped with two 7kW charge points). Currently, five hubs are already operational, located in Robinsons Malls in Ilocos Norte (Luzon); Iloilo, Roxas, and Dumaguete (Visayas); and Pagadian (Mindanao).

Soon, additional hub locations are set to open in Luzon and Visayas at Robinsons Tuguegarao, Santiago, La Union, and Antique. In Mindanao, Robinsons Iligan, Butuan, and Valencia. Once operational, this station will become one of the northernmost EV charging stations in ACMobility’s growing Philippine EV Spine Network to date.
“As one of the country’s leading mall operators, Robinsons enables us to further scale our EV network through the deployment of charging infrastructure in highly accessible, high-traffic locations,” said Carla Buencamino, Head of Mobility Infrastructure at ACMobility. “This partnership supports our broader goal of building a reliable, nationwide charging backbone that addresses range anxiety, strengthens connectivity between cities and provinces, and gives more Filipinos the confidence to adopt EVs as part of their everyday mobility.”

This partnership not only extends ACMobility’s geographic footprint, but also reinforces Robinsons Malls’ role as a forward-thinking and environmentally responsible developer that responds to the changing needs of its communities. By integrating EV charging infrastructure into its malls, Robinsons continues to evolve as a destination that not only delights customers but also contributes to a cleaner, greener future.
Building on its growing network, this partnership also reinforces ACMobility’s commitment to developing a robust EV Spine Network that ensures convenient access to charging stations nationwide, from Pagudpud in Luzon to Pagadian in Mindanao. Through this strategic expansion along major routes and destinations in the country, ACMobility is helping make EV ownership more practical, accessible, and reliable for drivers nationwide.

All stations under the network can be easily located using ACMobility’s partner e-mobility service provider, Evro. Evro is an all-in-one EV charging app that offers features such as the Station Finder feature, real-time availability tracking, navigation assistance, and in-app payment options, helping users charge with ease and confidence.
“We want to break the misconception that EVs are only suited for city driving. By bringing these facilities closer to regional communities, we are sending a clear message: owning an EV is practical and sustainable, no matter where you live. With Robinsons Malls supporting this cause, we are confident we can bring this infrastructure to more people across the country,” added Buencamino.
