920 HP Lamborghini Temerario is now in PH

Lamborghini's trio of electrified vehicles is now complete in the Philippines. After launching the Revuelto and Urus SE hybrids, Lamborghini Philippines distributor PGA Cars has officially launched the Temerario.

It slots below the Revuelto flagship but also benefits from electrification thanks to a trio of electric motors that assist its V8 heart. With a name that translates to “fearless” or “daredevil”, the Lamborghini Temerario succeeds the V10-powered Huracan as the brand ushers in a new era.

Serving as the beating heart of the Temerario is a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 that benefits from a flatplane crankshaft and a “hot-vee” setup, wherein the turbos are placed in between the cylinder banks. The new twin-turbo V8 can spin up to 10,000 rpm and generates a total system output of 920 HP with 730 Nm o of torque thanks to the three electric motors providing assist. From a standstill, Lamborghini says the Temerario can go from 0 – 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and go all the way to a top speed of 343 km/h.

Going fast means slowing down even faster, and Lamborghini made sure the Temerario can do that quickly thanks to the Carbon Ceramic Brakes Plus. It consists of aluminum monoblock calipers with 410mm discs and 10 pistons in the front and 390mm rear discs with four pistons to ensure fast braking.

As mentioned before, the Temerario is a high-performance plug-in hybrid (HPEV) supercar and is equipped with a 3.8 kWh battery pack, which powers the three electric motors. Two of the motors are found in the front axle, while the rear motor sits between the engine and the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.

While on the go, the powertrain and regenerative braking can recharge the battery pack. However, the lucky few who will be able to get their hands on one can hook up the Temerario to an AC charging station to replenish the battery from 0% to 100% in just 30 minutes.

Style-wise, the Lamborghini Temerario appears to have borrowed some styling cues from the Huracan. However, it also has its own charming looks with its signature hexagonal-like LED daytime running lights, distinct LED headlights & taillights, and rather short wheelbase.

It also has high-mounted exhausts that aid in the vehicle's aerodynamics, especially at highway speeds. Heck, Lamborghini also claimed that compared to the Huracan Evo, the Temerario's unique design generates up to 103% more downforce thanks to a bigger rear diffuser.

With the Revuelto, Urus SE, and now the Temerario being offered by Lamborghini Philippines, the lucky few who can own one can select from these three raging bulls.
