2026 Mitsubishi Xpander, Xpander Cross launched in PH
Mitsubishi's best-selling MPV gets a much-needed nip and tuck

Mitsubishi's popular 7-seater MPV gets another update for the 2026 model year. That's right, after making its regional debut in Indonesia earlier this year, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has officially launched the 2026 Xpander and Xpander Cross.

Featuring a bolder and more dynamic look inside and out, the 2026 Xpander and Xpander Cross get some neat upgrades for their latest refresh. Starting with the exterior, the Xpander gets an all-black grille with silver trim accents, along with a restyled bumper and redesigned LED foglights. Other exterior changes include new 17-inch alloy wheels and an updated back bumper.

Over to the Xpander Cross, the SUV-inspired version gets a meaner-looking grille that's paired with a more rugged-looking bumper, which makes it look more capable. It also comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, albeit with a different design to make it stand out from the regular Xpander. Additional exterior features present on the Xpander Cross include roof rails, an updated rear bumper, and generous use of black body cladding.
Open the doors, and the 2026 Xpander now comes with an updated dashboard. For starters, the GLS and Xpander Cross models now come with an 8-inch digital instrument panel derived from the XForce.

There's also a new 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. For better outside visibility, both the GLS and Xpander Cross get a 360-degree around-view monitor. Lower variants, however, only get standard gauges, a reverse camera, and a smaller 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display with wired Apple CarPlay & Android Auto.

Exclusive only to the Xpander Cross are new two-tone leather seats with heat guard for improved comfort on even the hottest of days. Meanwhile, other variants of the 2026 Xpander come with fabric seats as standard.

Other features available in the updated Xpander include an electronic parking brake (regular handbrake on GLX variants), digital air-conditioning (dial-type for GLX models), a six-speaker sound system (four speakers for GLX), push-button start, and tilt/telescopic steering adjust.
All remains the same under the hood of the Xpander, as it continues to be powered by the 1.5L four-cylinder 4A91 engine with MIVEC. It produces 105 PS at 6000 rpm with 141 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm and can be mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The CVT has yet to be offered by the automaker for the Xpander.

For better peace of mind while on the road, the 2026 Xpander is available with safety features, such as active stability control, traction control, active yaw control, hill-start assist, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and dual airbags.

Available colors for the 2026 Xpander include Blade Silver Metallic, Graphite Gray Metallic, Green Bronze Metallic, Jet Black Mica, Quartz White Pearl, and Red Metallic. Meanwhile, the 2026 Xpander Cross color palette includes Green Bronze Metallic, Quartz White Pearl, and Sunrise Orange Metallic.

You can check out the 2026 Mitsubishi Xpander at the Entertainment Hall of the SM Mall of Asia until August 31, 2025.

Pricing of the 2026 Mitsubishi Xpander is as follows:
Xpander GLX M/T – PHP 1,099,000
Xpander GLX A/T – PHP 1,159,000
Xpander GLS A/T – PHP 1,259,000
