2026 Mitsubishi Xpander facelift launching in PH next week
Witness the launch of the updated Mitsubishi Xpander on Aug 29 at the SM Mall of Asia

After making its regional debut earlier this year in Indonesia, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has announced that the refreshed 2026 Xpander will make its official debut later this month.
The refreshed MPV from Mitsubishi will officially be launched at the ground floor of the SM Mall of Asia Entertainment Hall on August 29, 2025. In addition, a mall display will be available to mall-goers from August 29 – 31, 2025.

Official details of the facelifted Mitsubishi Xpander are not yet available. Based on what the Indonesian market gets, the refreshed MPV will more than likely get the same makeover and specifications. For starters, the 1.5L 4A91 four-cylinder MIVEC engine could be carried over and continue to make 105 PS and 141 Nm of torque.
In Indonesia, the updated Xpander range is now available with a CVT, which replaces the four-speed automatic transmission. Lesser variants, however, can still be paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.

Style-wise, the refreshed Xpander gets a new blacked-out grille with silver trim accents. The MPV also comes with new 17-inch alloy wheels, a redesigned rear bumper, and body-colored door handles that replace the current chrome-finished units.
Climb aboard, and the updated MPV gets a new 8-inch digital instrument cluster shared with the XForce. A bigger 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system is also present, which comes with crisp graphics and updated menus. We're hoping the refreshed Xpander will support wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. Last but not least, a 360-degree camera system is offered in the Indonesian market, which we're hoping also makes its way to the Philippine-spec MPV.

With the launch of the updated Mitsubishi Xpander just a week away, we can't wait for all of the details to be shared by the automaker come launch day.
