2026 Maserati MCPura is the new MC20 supercar
Maserati MCPura makes its debut at 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed

Five years ago, Maserati revealed their first supercar in 15 years with the MC20. Time does go by very quickly as the Trident brand has updated its halo car along with a new name.
Making its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed is the new Maserati MCPura. Featuring a lighter chassis, plus subtle updates to the exterior and interior, the MCPura also has some new tricks in its playbook.

The body shape remains unchanged for the new MCPura, but the front grille has been reshaped along with some tweaks in the front splitter and the intakes under the headlights. The rear end is likewise slightly altered but still follows the same shape as the MC20. The MCPura was revealed in the Ai Aqua Rainbow color, but Devil Orange, Verde Royale, and Night Interaction colors are now available in the paint offerings.

The MCPura also comes in two body styles – the coupe and convertible version called the Cielo, which has a retractable roof made from polymer-dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) glass. The material has the ability to switch from transparent to opaque, which enhances the cabin experience even further.

Speaking of which, the Maserati trident is found in the laser-etched Alcantara upholstery inside, along with new trimmings on the cabin. But nevertheless, the layout is still identical to the MC20.
Powering the new MCPura is still the 3.0-liter, twin-turbo Nettuno V6 that makes 630 PS and 720 Nm of torque. The engine sends power to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. With a curb weight of under 1,500 kg, Maserati claims the MCPura can sprint to 100 km/h from a standstill in 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 325 km/h.

The MCPura name is a nod to Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity, which celebrates “an energy with the capacity to multiply until it becomes a pure expression of excellence.”

Maserati Philippines says they are looking forward to welcoming the MCPura to the country very soon, as production begins this third quarter of 2025.
