2026 BAIC B40e Trailmaster 4x4 rEV is yours for PHP 2.888M

BAIC Philippines distributor United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI) has just confirmed the initial details and specifications of the upcoming B40e Trailmaster 4x4 rEV. Set to make its official debut at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) later this week, the electrified 4x4 combines the capabilities of an off-road vehicle with the efficiency and practicality of a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain.

Serving as the B40e's beating heart is the Advanced Range-Extended Electric Vehicle system. While the brand has yet to reveal its official output figures, BAIC Philippines did mention that the B40e can travel up to 152 km, based on the CLTC cycle on battery power alone. When paired with a full tank of gasoline, however, the BAIC B40e Trailmaster rEV has a combined range of more than 1,200 km.

Thanks to its electrified powertrain, the B40e supports a vehicle-to-load (V2L) function, which can power essential appliances and outdoor equipment. It has two 220V power outlets with up to 2.2 kW of power, which can easily power additional lights and other conveniences.

Inside, the B40e comes with a pair of high-resolution displays, each measuring 12.8 inches. One serves as a touchscreen infotainment media system, while the other is an additional infotainment screen for the front passenger. Complementing that is a 12-speaker sound system from Infinity.

For improved peace of mind while on the road, the B40e comes with a plethora of intelligent driver aids via a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Available colors for the BAIC B40e Trailmaster rEV include Future Gray, Jet Black, Jungle Green, Mineral Yellow, and Snowy White. These are paired with interior colors, which include Black with Gray & Orange accents or Green with Gray.
