2025 Volvo XC60, XC90 refresh now in PH with plug-in hybrid
Volvo Cars Philippines introduces new XC60 and XC90 PHEV SUVs to the market

Volvo is steadily increasing its presence and growth in the Philippine market. As a global brand known for its Scandinavian craftsmanship, technology, and innovation towards safety, the brand has introduced updates to two of its most popular SUVs.
Making its Philippine debut are the refreshed XC60 and XC90 SUVs for the 2025 model year, bringing a few key revisions both inside and outside, as well as new plug-in hybrid powertrains.

The XC60 is the brand’s most popular SUV in the global market, bringing a modest facelift that consists of a new front grille that uses the diagonal motif, highlighting Volvo’s iron mark logo. The design puts the SUV in line with the new flagship XC90 that also wears the updated grille.

On the other hand, the XC90 comes with reshaped headlights, new LED DRLs, and a wider opening for the lower air intake for its front end. The rear end receives a new light pattern for its signature taillights.

Both SUVs have kept much of their interior layout, but the update includes a bigger 11.2-inch touchscreen for infotainment. This also houses most of the SUV’s cabin functions such as the A/C, and even the drive mode for the plug-in hybrid settings. Both SUVs have Bowers & Wilkins premium audio system as standard. With better screen quality and a more up-to-date software, the infotainment promises better response and a better user experience overall.

Powering the new XC60 PHEV is a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine paired to a rear-mounted electric motor - forming the e-AWD system. The setup delivers up to 80 kilometers of range on pure electric mode. The same plug-in hybrid setup is found on the XC90 PHEV, but as a bigger vehicle, it delivers more power at 462 PS compared to the XC60's 455, but slightly less electric range at 77 kilometers.

Both the XC60 and XC90 PHEV feature Pilot Assist, collision avoidance systems, and 360 degree cameras as part of its safety equipment and advanced driving assist tech.
Introductory prices of the 2025 Volvo XC60 PHEV and XC90 PHEV are as follows:
