2025 Ram 1500 for PH to get twin-turbo Hurricane inline-six?
The refreshed Ram 1500 could be on its way to PH with the new Hurricane inline-six engine

Just before the holidays last year, Ram launched the facelifted 1500 pickup truck for the 2025 model year. Not only does it get a modest refresh inside & out, but the full-size pickup truck also received a new engine under the hood.
Gone is the HEMI V8 and in its place is the new 3.0L twin-turbo Hurricane engine. The straight-six engine is available in two states of tune – the entry-level version makes 426 PS with 623 Nm of torque while the top-of-the-line variant generates 548 PS and 706 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to an 8-speed Torqueflite automatic gearbox. With the naturally-aspirated HEMI V8 only producing 400 PS and 555 Nm of torque in the Ram 1500, the Hurricane engine delivers more power and pull.

Since its launch in the US market, there has been no news yet regarding its arrival in the Philippines. But thanks to new information we recently gathered, it may not be long before Ram distributor Inchcape Philippines launches the updated 1500 pickup truck.
Inchcape Philippines was given regulatory approval for a new light-duty vehicle that has a gasoline-powered 2993cc engine. The mystery vehicle has a reference weight of around 2495 kg and a maximum mass of 3220 kg. After doing some research and crunching some numbers, it looks like Inchcape Philippines is preparing to launch the updated Ram 1500 pickup.

The new 3.0L twin-turbo Hurricane inline-six has an exact displacement of 2993cc which reflects the same engine size as the one that recently received regulatory approval. However, there are no exact details yet regarding the specs and variants of the new Ram 1500 for the Philippine market.
With Ram Philippines keeping their cards close to their chest, we'll be keeping an eye out for possible leaks and teasers should they release anything. Hopefully, they have something special in store just before the holidays this year.
