2025 Philippine EV Summit all set this October
This year's Philippine EV Summit will be co-presented by BYD, Omoda & Jaecoo, GAC, and UAAGI

The Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) is gearing up for this year's EV Summit. This comes after the group announced that the 2025 Philippine EV Summit will take place at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City.
This year's event will carry the theme “Charged Ahead, Ignite the EVolution”, and will be co-presented by the following brands: BYD, GAC, Omoda & Jaecoo, and United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI).
During the pre-event press conference for the 13th Philippine EV Summit, leaders from EVAP, BYD Cars Philippines, Omoda & Jaecoo Motor Philippines Inc., the Department of Energy (DOE), Foton Motor Philippines Inc., UAAGI, and GAC gathered and shared their insights about the country's EV adoption. The press conference also highlighted the tripling of EV adoption in the country in 2024, as well as new charging stations that are set to expand in the country.
Under the Comprehensive Roadmap for the Electric Vehicle Industry (CREVI), the country is looking to deploy 7,300 EV charging stations by 2028, from about 300 in 2023 and 992 so far in 2025. In addition, EVAP president Edmund Araga shared he expects EV adoption in the country to further rise amid supportive government policies and the arrival of more players.
“It is high time to shift to EV. There are currently more choices when it comes to EV models and brands,” said Araga.
The 13th Philippine EV Summit will happen from Oct 23 – 25, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City.
