2025 Mazda BT-50 facelift set to make PH debut in Q2 this year
It won't be long before we get to see the updated 2025 Mazda BT-50 on PH roads

Remember when we noticed Mazda distributor Bermaz Auto Philippines received the go-ahead to bring a light-duty vehicle earlier this year? Based on the regulatory approval we saw last month, it looks like Mazda Philippines is making the necessary preparations to launch the refreshed 2025 BT-50 pickup truck.
So how soon can we expect Mazda Philippines to make its debut here? Well, according to a well-placed source, the updated BT-50 is slated to have its big reveal in Q2 2025. No exact date or estimated timeline has been revealed just yet although our anonymous source did say that it will be available in 4x2 and 4x4 guises.

In addition, they also shared with us that just like the current BT-50, the refreshed version will also only be offered with the Isuzu-derived 3.0L 4JJ3-TCX turbo-diesel engine. That's right, the PH-spec BT-50 will unfortunately not get the new 2.2L MaxForce DDi turbo-diesel engine that's shared with the mu-X and D-Max.
Output figures for the 3.0L turbo-diesel engine are expected to be carried over for the 2025 BT-50. That means it will still generate 190 PS with 450 Nm of torque and will be mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Other key features we can expect the 2025 BT-50 to get once it's launched in the country include a bigger 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and additional driver aids like traffic jam assist (TJA) that work with the adaptive cruise control (ACC).
With a planned launch set for Q2 of this year, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for any new information (and perhaps sightings) on the updated Mazda BT-50.
