2025 Lexus LX Hybrid launching in PH soon?
Land Transportation Office releases homologation documents for LX Hybrid

Lexus Philippines is one of the major premium brands that offer a wide array of hybrid models. And for 2025, electrification could be coming for its flagship SUV, the LX.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has released the homologation documents for the LX700h. Based on the documents, the flagship hybrid SUV could come in two variants – the 7-seater Premier and what could be the top-spec VIP variant that has seating for four.

Compared to the LX600 that’s currently in the market, the LX700h’s 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 is assisted by the iForce Max hybrid system to boost power and improve efficiency. The hybrid V6 puts out a combined output of 457 PS and 790 Nm of torque.
Despite the LX being the flagship SUV of Lexus, it’s worth noting that the hybrid system is still powered by a nickel metal hydride battery instead of the newer lithium-ion units found in cars like the Toyota Corolla Altis and Camry.

The non-hybrid Lexus LX600 already starts at PHP 10,788,000. While the zero-tariff policy from EO 12 will apply to the LX700h, customers should still expect to shell out more to get the electrified flagship SUV should Lexus PH decide to launch the model this year.
