2025 Lexus IS 500 F Sport looks great in yellow

The Lexus IS doesn’t seem to get older; it seems to get better with time.

For 2025, Lexus has released a special appearance package for the IS 500 F Sport Premium with an eye-catching Flare Yellow paint job and dark-colored 19-inch BBS wheels for the exterior, while the cabin gets Black NuLuxe seats with suede inserts, yellow contrast stitching, and color-coordinated floor mats.

The IS 500 F Sport Premium is one of the IS trims we wish we had in the Philippines, especially since it’s powered by a 5.0-liter, naturally aspirated V8 engine that puts out 479 PS and 535 Nm of torque to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The striking color is only limited to 180 units and will go on sale later this year in the US market. For the rest of the IS lineup, there are also a handful of updates for the 2025 model year.

The IS 300 F Sport and IS 350 F Sport get a dark chrome finish on the window trims and side mirrors, while there’s a new power tilt and telescopic steering column inside with a memory function that works with the seats and exterior mirrors.

These updates have been rolled out for the US market, but let’s wait and see if the PH market will mirror these changes for the 2025 model year IS. If we had a wishlist, we’d really like to see that Flare Yellow soon. Oh, and the V8 too.
