2025 Land Rover Defender OCTA to make PH debut this May
We're two weeks away from the PH debut of the 2025 Defender OCTA

Last year just before the holidays, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Philippines confirmed that the mighty Defender OCTA is set to arrive in 2025. Powered by a BMW-derived 4.4L twin-turbo V8, the all-new Defender OCTA is more powerful than the 5.0L supercharged V8 Defender.
At the time, JLR Philippines boss Chris Ward said that we can expect the Defender OCTA’s arrival in late Q1 or early Q2 of 2025. After a long wait, those who have been waiting to get their hands on one need not wait any longer.

This comes after JLR Philippines recently confirmed with us that the twin-turbo-powered Defender OCTA will officially make its local debut on May 21, 2025. It will be revealed alongside the Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two, which will also make its Philippine debut.
Once revealed, we can expect the 2025 Defender OCTA to come with the 4.4L twin-turbo V8 that generates an impressive 635 PS and a whopping 750 Nm of torque. It will also be available with an 8-speed automatic gearbox with high and low-range gears, and will allow the SUV to go from 0 - 100 km/h in just four seconds. Keep your foot planted on the accelerator and the Defender OCTA will reach an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h.

Other key aspects we can expect from the Defender OCTA include uprated disc brakes at the front with Brembo calipers, hydraulically interlinked continuously variable semi-active dampers that eliminate pitch & body roll, 33-inch Goodyear Advanced all-terrain tires, and a quad exhaust system.
With only a couple of weeks to go before the big debut, those interested in getting one better let JLR Philippines know they are looking to get one.
