2025 Lamborghini Urus SE arrives in Thailand, PH next?
After making its global debut in China, Lamborghini has brought the Urus SE PHEV to SE Asia

About a month ago, the world witnessed the official launch of the Lamborghini Urus SE at the 2024 Auto China in Beijing. Powered by an electrified twin-turbo V8, the Urus SE now serves as the most powerful version of the brand's popular SUV.
Typically after a vehicle has made its global debut, it will usua lly take some time before it arrives in regional markets around the world. But to our surprise, the most powerful Urus to date has officially made its way to Southeast Asia via Thailand, bringing it much closer to the Philippines. With it, the Land of The Smiles is the first ASEAN market to get its hands on the electrified raging bull.

Like the one revealed in the PRC, the Urus SE has a plug-in hybrid powertrain consisting of a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that generates 620 PS and an electric motor housed within the 8-speed automatic transmission that doles out an extra 192 PS. Combined, the Urus SE generates a whopping 800 PS and a staggering 950 Nm of pull. 0 – 100 km/h comes in at a quick 3.4 seconds while its top speed is rated at 312 km/h.

Thanks to a 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the Urus SE can travel up to 60 km on pure electric power. Aside from that, the Urus SE also benefits from what Lamborghini describes as a “virtual” LSD in the rear. It does away with the traditional mechanical limited-slip differential and gives drivers the option to have an “on-demand” oversteer feature for a more fun driving experience. The virtual LSD also saves around 44 kg of weight for the Urus SE.
With the Urus SE now available in Thailand, perhaps it's only a matter of time before it eventually makes its way here in the Philippines.
