2025 Continental GT Speed is most powerful Bentley yet with 787 HP
Bentley's grand tourer enters electrified age with a plug-in twin-turbo V8 hybrid pushing 787 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque

The wait is officially over. After giving us a teaser of its latest halo car yesterday, Bentley has officially unveiled the all-new, fourth-generation Continental GT Speed. Billed as the most powerful Bentley ever created, the all-new Continental GT Speed is a plug-in hybrid grand tourer powered by an electrified twin-turbo V8.
The plug-in hybrid powertrain consists of a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that makes 600 PS and 800 Nm of torque. It has twin-scroll turbochargers and an e-motor which negates turbo lag for faster acceleration and response. It is then assisted by an electric motor that puts out 190 PS – resulting in a total system output of 787 PS and a whopping 1,000 Nm of pull.

Paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox with an electronic limited-slip differential and all-wheel drive system, the Continental GT Speed is capable of sprinting from 0 – 97 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and achieving a top speed of 335 km/h.
Thanks to a 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery pack placed behind the rear axle, it gives the vehicle an EV range of up to 81 km and CO2 emissions of only 29g per kilometer. More importantly, the placement of the battery achieves a perfect weight distribution as claimed by Bentley. In EV mode, the Continental GT Speed can travel at speeds of up to 140 km/h. The battery can then be recharged to full in less than 3 hours when hooked up to an 11 kW charging station.

Style-wise, the all-new Continental GT Speed borrows key design aspects from the iconic Bentley R-Type Continental of 1952. The two-door coupe features a muscular redesign of the brand's now-familiar silhouette. However, Bentley gave the grand tourer a new pair of LED headlights inspired by the Bacalar that was revealed in 2021 which features a deep crystal diamond-cut effect.
The rear, meanwhile, gets a restyled bumper, tweaked LED taillights, and new trunk lid/exhaust tips. The trunk lid itself has an integrated aerodynamic form that aids in delivering downforce without needing a deployable rear spoiler. On the other hand, the rear bumper is more dramatically designed which emphasizes the Continental GT Speed's width. Last but not least, the grand tourer comes with massive 22-inch alloy wheels with a strong directional design inspired by tiger claws.

Launched alongside the hardtop Continental GT Speed is the droptop version dubbed the GTC Speed. It features the brand's seven-bow fabric roof system that's available in 7 colors. It can be deployed in 19 seconds at speeds of up to 48 km/h. Performance-wise, the GTC Speed can catapult itself from 0 – 97 km/h in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 285 km/h.
Hop inside and the 2025 Continental GT Speed welcomes you into a sleek and luxurious cabin. It has 20-way power-adjustable front seats, sculpted quilting, and a new quilt embroidery for the ultimate cocoon-like environment. Intricate wood veneers are also present which further highlight Bentley's heritage of luxury and making bespoke vehicles.

A total of three sound systems are available in the Continental GT Speed. The standard system features 10 speakers and 650 watts. Next up is the Bang & Olufsen 1,500-watt system which gets 16 speakers and illuminated speaker grilles. Last but not least is a Naim 2,200-watt 18-speaker system with Active Bass Transducers built into the front seats and comes with 8 sound modes.
With the all-new Continental GT Speed now available in Europe, it might only be a matter of time before PGA Cars Inc. brings the latest grand tourer to the Philippines.
